Ten Members European Parliament want action against caste discrimination

Ten Members of European Parliament put written questions to the Vice-President / High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Catherine Ashton, and the European Commission on discrimination on the grounds of caste and caste discrimination in EU development policy.
Among these Members were four Dutch politicians: Ria Oomen-Ruijten (Christian Democrats), Esther de Lange (Christian Democrats), Thijs Berman (Labour Party) and Peter van Dalen (Christian Union).
